Research focus: Dr. Ben-Azu Benneth is a Neuropharmacologist, an Associate Professor and former Head of Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, College of Medicine, Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka. He is the Secretary General of the Nigerian Society of Pharmacologists and Experimental Therapeutics (NISPET) and a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (FISLT). Dr Ben-Azu Benneth obtained his undergraduate training in Science Laboratory Technology with specialization in Physiology and Pharmacology in 2010 from Delta State University, Abraka, in which he was the Best Graduating Student of his class.
Research focus: Dr Aliance is a post-doctoral research fellow at the DELSU joint Canada-Israel lab. He joined the team in 2023. He completed his PhD from the University of Dschang in Cameroon specializing in Neuropharmacology and natural product biomedical research. His research aim in the lab focuses on the epigenetic dynamics interplay in the onset of neurocognitive and mood impairments, and epileptogenesis in rodent.

Research focus: Adebayo holds a B.Tech and M.Sc degree in Neurophysiology and he’s currently concluding his Ph.D. degree in Neuroscience from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. Adebayo research goal at the DELSU joint Canada-Israel Neuroscience and Biopsychiatry lab is to understand how stress, infection, and diets contribute the pathogenesis of different psychiatric diseases.
