We proudly celebrate Ejukolemu Jennifer Elo for her outstanding presentation at the 4th NISPET-Ibadan 2026 Scientific Conference and Annual General Meeting, held from 22nd – 26th September, 2026 at the Otunba Subomi Balogun Conference Centre, University of Ibadan.

The conference, themed “Pharmacology Beyond Boundaries: Innovation and Translational Science for Sustainable Health,” convened leading researchers to share innovations shaping the future of pharmacology.

Elo distinguished herself with her presentation titled: “Effects of Chrysin on the Susceptibility to Early-Adulthood Depression in Mouse Offspring Caused by Adolescent Chronic Stress-Exacerbated Prenatal Immune Activation”

Her work, which aligns with the conference sub-theme on Neuropharmacology and Mental Health, offers valuable insights into the role of natural compounds in addressing depression linked to early-life stress, underscoring both scientific rigor and translational relevance.
