The DELSU Joint Canada-Israel Neuroscience and Biopsychiatry Laboratory congratulates our Principal Investigator, Dr. Ben-Azu Benneth, on his selection as a plenary speaker at the 23rd Scientific Conference and Annual General Meeting of the Neuroscience Society of Nigeria (NSN), held from 7–10 September 2026.

Themed “Neuroeducation and Neurotechnology,” the conference featured his presentation titled “Roles of maternal immune activation and microglia dysfunction during development in health and neurodevelopmental disorders.”

This recognition reflects his contributions to neuroscience research and our laboratory’s commitment to advancing understanding of brain health and neuropsychiatric conditions.
